Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies · Israel
Accelerating the evolution of peptide drug discovery.
One platform, two applications: outsourced discovery of peptides selected for function against a defined protein target, completed in approximately three months, and AEBi's own multi-targeted cancer programme, MuTaTo.

Two capabilities, one platform
A discovery engine offered to partners and applied to AEBi's own programmes.
The company
A small research company that has been at one idea since 2000.
In 2000, Dr. Ilan Morad had an idea for what can be described as a functional phage display. He applied to the ITEK incubator in the Weizmann Science Park, and six years later AEBi proved that the technology — SoAP — really works.
The distinction matters: within the phage display family, the platform returns functional leads to difficult targets — agonists, antagonists, inhibitors — not merely the sequences that bind most tightly. This is what makes the platform useful both as a service and as the starting point for AEBi's own therapeutics.
The company still operates on the same premise: that the ability to design and manipulate peptides is a better foundation for drug development than most trajectories the field has taken.
Functional leads
Selected for efficacy against the target, round after round.
The service
From a defined target to experimentally supported peptides.
≈ 3
months, subject to target and scope
Target and scope
The client provides the protein target and its technical details. AEBi assesses suitability and agrees the screening strategy, assay configuration and validation criteria.
SoAP screening
Rounds of selection against the target, each round carrying both affinity and efficacy properties, narrowing a vast peptide library toward functional candidates.
ELISA validation and report
Selected phage-displayed peptides are confirmed experimentally against the target, then delivered as sequences with supporting data and a concise technical report.
Scope, candidate count and timeline are defined per project — and priced accordingly.
AEBi's own programme
MuTaTo — a multi-targeted approach to cancer.
Multi-Target Toxin: rather than one receptor, several at once — so that resistance cannot arise from a single mutation. It is the reason AEBi screens for function.
The resistance problem
A tumour treated with a single-target drug can escape through mutation. MuTaTo is designed to close that door by attacking several targets on the same cell at once.
Built from SoAP peptides
The targeting moieties are peptides identified by AEBi's own screening platform, conjugated to a toxin to form a multi-targeted molecule.
Where it stands
A published, peer-reviewed concept supported by laboratory research. It is not a treatment, and no clinical trial is under way.
Published science
The concept is published in the literature.
The multi-targeted approach was published in an open-access journal, followed by independent coverage and interviews. The primary source is available in full.
